While it is true that most essences that work for humans also work well for animals, it is also true that animals are different to humans in a number of ways. It therefore makes sense to develop essences that are for animal-specific issues, and here are some of those essences.

“Always needing to be part of the action.” A flower essence to help animals that are always having to be in on the action, to be involved with everything that is going on, and become upset or anxious when excluded from human activity.







Animal’s Emotional Mirroring    Red and White Camellia
An essence to help animals to process and release the emotional energy that they take on from people, and then “mirror” back to the people. This process is one of the ways in which domestic animals serve humanity, and the process is natural. However, in these modern times, the emotional load has become extreme for some animals.

Animal’s Dysfunctional Emotional Issues    Ulmus minor
An essence to help animals to deal with the situation where the animal has picked up a large amount of emotional energy from humans, and, having been unable to deal with this energy, the energy has “turned inwards” in the animal, and is now manifesting as the underlying cause of dysfunctional behavior. This behavior can be self-abusive.

Animal’s Feeling Boxed In    Eryngium caenuleum
A flower essence for helping animals that feel “boxed in”, regarding their relationship with another animal(s). This feeling can include a feeling that another animal in the household is receiving more attention from the humans than them, or it can be that they feel that they are not getting their fair share of the food. Or, it can be just about any issue with the other animal.







Animal’s Depression    Garlic Chives
A flower essence for helping animals that are feeling depressed for some reason. Just like humans, animals can sometimes become depressed, and there is usually an underlying reason, for example some unresolved post-traumatic stress condition from the animal's past. This essence works to help the animal release the underlying cause, and resolve the depression.

Animal’s Feelings    Chinese Chives
A flower essence for helping animals that have some sort of problems with their feelings. Like humans, animals can sometimes develop issues of “feeling bad”, and, like humans, there is usually some underlying psycholgical reason for this. This essence helps the animal to resolve the underlying cause, and restore the feelings to a balanced and healthy state.







Animal’s Jealousy    Myrtle (Myrtus communis)
A flower essence for helping animals that are being affected by feelings of jealousy towards another animal(s). Many animals experience human-type emotions, jealousy being one such example. This essence is to help such animals to resolve the underlying cause for this emotion, and to therefore regain a healthy emotional balance.







Animal Food Addiction     Hamburger Phoenix Rose
A flower essence for helping animals who suffer from addiction to food. Sometimes, a pet animal can become a hopeless food addict, always demanding more and more food, and growing fat if allowed to overeat. There can be a variety of reasons for this addiction, including having been starved at some time in the past, or mistreated. This essence will help any animal suffering from food addiction to come back into a state of healthy balance with regard to their desire for food.

An essence to help animals resolve “family issues”, anything to do with their relationships with their blood relations. For example, animals who are living in the same family as their mother, and who are having difficulty with their relationship with their mother.

Animal’s Mental Health     Leander Rose
A flower essence for helping an animal that has any form of mental health problem. Animals, like humans, can sometimes become mentally unwell, for a variety of reasons. The mental health symptoms can vary, it might be a form of depression, or psychosis, or a refusal to eat. This essence is for helping such animals.
