Flower Essence
Definition:
To promote an “astringent” action
on the pores of the skin.
Works energetically with the essential oil
ingredients to cause the skin pores to close,
thus acting like an anti-perspirant.
A flower essence, first discovered 21 September, 2003,
at Mona Vale public gardens in Christchurch.
That spring afternoon at Mona Vale gardens, the sun was at
a low angle, striking the Pink Azalea bushes in a spectacular
fashion, through the foliage of some nearby trees.
The bright pink color of these flowers, shining in the sun,
is very appropriate for a flower essence that is used for
an anti-perspirant effect, as this is the skin color associated
with heavy perspiration when a person becomes severely
over-heated.
