Sea Essence
Definition:

replacing illusion with the clarity of The Truth.
Made 8 August, 1999, from a small piece of brick and a small
piece of glass (both very well worn from years of exposure to
sand and sea), found on the Raumati South beach.
This essence was an unexpected “bonus”. I was returning from a
walk on the beach, with several treasures. Right by the steps as I
left the beach, was a small piece of brick.
As I bent down to pick it up, I heard clearly the words “Here's a
bonus for you!” (The glass was already in my pocket.)
And, what a bonus! Hardly a day goes by where I do not find a
use for this essence.
Shortly after finding these treasures, as I became aware of what this
essence was for, I felt the sensation of standing tip-toes to look
through one of those high up picture windows in an old house. As
I strain to see what is on other side of the window, the hazy picture
gradually clears, coming into focus. Like I am turning the focus
control on a camera, bringing what was blurry into sharp focus.
