Brush Wattle
Flower Essence
Paraserianthes lophantha
Definition:
For victims of ethnic cleansing
and the Holocaust.
To help transmute the pain of these events
in the hearts of people who remember,
and in the cellular memories of people reborn.
To raise this energy and eradicate it for ever.
A flower essence, made 31 July 1999,
from flowers on a Coast Wattle tree in
the sandhills near the beach at Queen
Elizabeth Park, north of Paekakariki.
This is one of those essences where the way
that the photographs of the flowers have turned
out has a connection with the essence definition.
Notice that the foliage is under-exposed and
appears dark, and the flowers are over-exposed
and appear very light.
To me, the dark under-exposed foliage symbolises
the dark, heavy energy of the ethnic cleansing and
holocaust, the heavy dark traumatic energy. And,
the bright flowers represent the human spirit
shining brightly from out of the darkness. No
matter how dark the circumstances, the human spirit
always shines brightly, and healing of any trauma can
occur.
Other essences where a similar effect of over-exposure
of the flowers
has occurred, for very appropriate reasons,
are the
White Climbing Rose,
the
Iceberg Rose, and the
Pink Flower Bush.
