Chrysanthemum
Flower Essence
Definition:
Feeling helpless - like the sun going down.
Brings the new dawning, full of promise and vigour.
The promise of ripeness, full of potential.
A flower essence, made 18 October, 1998, from the flowers
of some Chrysanthemum plants at the property of my friend
Bernadine, at Otaihunga, Paraparaumu, on the Kapiti coast north
of Wellington.
This was my first visit to Bernadine's place, and on this day
I made several essences, including this Chrysanthemum
essence, and also Echium, which has a similar definition to
the Chrysanthemum.
But the
Echium
is for the real deep despair and
hopelessness; whereas the Chrysanthemum has a lighter
energy, the energy of helplessness and the sun going down
on one, but not as heavy as the Echium.
Also this same day, I conducted a mini-workshop for a group
of people. As well as making several essences, I demonstrated
some of the “Perelandra” land cleansing and balancing work.
Regarding the photographs of the Chrysanthemum, I took
photos of the flowers that we made into essences that day,
but the film jammed in my camera, and I lost all the photos.
When I went back a year later hoping to re-photograph the
flowers in bloom, the Echium bush had died over the winter,
and the Chrysanthemums had gone and not been re-planted.
However, in a later visit, in November 2003, the Chrysanthemums
had self-seeded and come back again, and have now been
photographed with our new digital camera.
