Cistus
Flower Essence
Cistus salviifolius
(Var. “Snowmound”)
Definition:
The dilemma of the struggle between
the divine and the human.
“Nun’s tears”.
Desire to be God-like, but knowing
one is still human, a foot in both.
“How do I be both these?”
Gives the ability to further resolve the
perceived split between divinity and humanity.
A flower essence, made 3 January, 1999, from cistus plants
in the garden of my friend Maree, at Te Horo Beach, north
of Wellington.
On this same day, I also made, from Maree's garden, the
Pink Verbena,
and the
Gazania
essences, both of which are among the most important
essences in the entire New
Millennium essence family.
January 1999 was right in the middle of that “mad summer”
where I dashed around making dozens of essences in a very
short time. And, it was on this particular day that this frenzied
activity reached its peak..... because, after making these essences
at Maree's place, I jumped in my car and drove further up the
coast to Heidi's place at Ohau and made some more! At the end
of the day, I returned home totally exhausted, but very happy.
The Cistus Essence is all about that classic dilemma, of how can one
be both human and divine at the same time? This essence should help
us to find the answer..... which, I believe, is not all that difficult, in
that we are, I believe, by nature, already “divine”. Our supposed
human “frailties” being an illusion imposed upon us by priests and
religious leaders in order to give them power and control over us.
It is now time to awaken to the Truth, and to own our natural divinity,
while remaining very much “human” at the same time.
The other essence that is very much about our “Human Divinity” is
the
Wiri Prince Hebe.
