A flower essence, made 3rd March 2002, from two varieties of
dahlias in the Christchurch Botanical Gardens. These two varieties
of Dahlias, “Oreti Juke” (the darker colored one) and “Pacific
Revival”, are growing together there side by side.
There is an interesting story concerning the discovery of this essence....
On 23rd February, I had gone to the Christchurch Botanical
Gardens, looking for flowers for essence making, and I had found
several that day, but not these Dahlias..... but someone else did!
However..... that same day, a “chance” meeting took place, in the
botanical gardens. Vanda and I met that day, and, as they say,
“the rest is history”. We were to spend the next two months together,
travelling all around New Zealand's South Island, partners in a healing
quest that included the finding of an amazing number of flowers for
the making of new essences.
It was eight days after that fateful meeting, on 3rd March, when
Vanda and returned together to the botanical gardens, that I found
and photographed these dahlias.
However, a week or so later, when looking through Vanda's
photographs, there was a lovely photo of these same dahlias!
And, this photograph was taken by Vanda an hour or so before
she met me! Of all the many thousands of flowers there that day,
she had photographed these exact ones, together, and her photo
(reproduced at the top of this page) is of superb quality, and perfectly
embodies the energy of this essence.
Was this “chance”? Or was it “synchronicity”?
On the same day, 3 March, I also found, at the same location, the
Bergamot flower essence, which is for assisting all aspects of the
biochemistry processes.
