var. “Atropunicea”
Definition:

with digital camera, 22 February 2004,
at the Christchurch Botanical Gardens.
This flower essence is one of our series of animal health essences,

This essence is an example of an essence where the form and
visual look of the plant give an indication of what the essence is for.
In this case, we have a big, strong, imposing looking tree, but its
seed pods are little furry balls.
The little fur-covered seed pods
symbolize how a large, robust animal can be brought to a state
of severe discomfort by an allergic reaction to something really
small.
