Flax
Flower Essence
Phormium tenax
Definition:
For fear, especially fears about the future.
Helps to release the “What if?” fear of what
might happen, the trying to anticipate the future
and imagining the worst.
When we learn to let go of this anticipating the
future, this frees up a huge amount of our energy
to deal with the here and now.
A flower essence, made 21st December 1998,
from the flowers of the flax bushes growing beside
“The Brook”, in Nelson. The glass containing
the flowers and water was placed right alongside the
river, to absorb energy from the river as it flowed past.
Flax is a very common plant in New Zealand, and was traditionally
used by the Mãori people for many things.... ropes, baskets, mats,
clothing, to name a few. Early European settlers also harvested
it in very large quantity for rope making.
This flax essence is self-explanatory. When we spend a lot of energy trying
to anticipate the future, we waste our resources of energy and time
that could be used for manifesting the eternal present moment,
and thus make it more likely that the dreaded
future possibility may actually happen.
