Pure White Gloxinia
Flower Essence
Definition:
To assist in the shamanic healing process of healing
all members of the family, in all generations, back as
far as seven generations.
Whenever any person heals anything within themselves,
this also always heals the same issue or trauma for other
family members, and this essence enhances this process
for all family members, within the framework of the
shamanic journeying process.
A flower essence, made 6 November 2002, from Gloxinia plants
in the Garrick House glass-house at the Christchurch Botanical
Gardens.
This essence is one of a group of three different colored Gloxinias
that complement each other for use in various aspects of
Shamanic Healing.
The finding of these Gloxinias was the culmination of earlier work,
in April 2002, when Vanda had found the two Begonias for shamanic
healing work; and, along with the two Begonias, these three Gloxinias
cover all aspects of assistance to the shaman on the “healing
journey”. For the story of the Begonias, refer to the

Once again, in a similar way to the story of the Begonias, it was in
response to a personal need for healing that the need for these three
Gloxinias was recognised....
I was attending the “Spirit @ Work” Conference, in Christchurch,
(1st to 3rd November, 2002), and the well-known writer and teacher
of shamanism, Leslie Kenton, spoke about the shamanic healing process.
While speaking with Leslie after she had spoken to the group, I became
aware that I needed to do the shamanic soul-retrieval process for myself
in order to progress the healing of an important personal issue.
Other people at the conference helped me in the process of solidifying
my awareness of what was needed, and three days later, when visiting
the botanical gardens, the three gloxonias were found. As soon as I
walked into the glass-house, I saw the gloxonias, their energy blazing
strongly, and I immediately knew that they were for assisting on the
shamanic healing process. The fact that they are native to South
America felt especially appropriate, as Vanda is from Brazil.
A week later, Vanda and I began using the flowers in shamanic healing.
Even though she is in Brazil and I am in New Zealand, we do this work
together. At the same time each day, 10pm in New Zealand and 7am in
Brazil, we both commence the process together. We use the photographs
of the Begonia and Gloxinia flowers to energetically enhance the process:
for example, because it is through the solar plexus chakra that we project
our energy, we both place the photograph of the Pink Begonia on our solar
plexus chakra for the duration of the process, which takes about an hour
for the total process. If you wish to work with photographs of the flowers,
you can print them out from the pictures on these website pages, on your
color printer, and this will work just as well as if you had the original
photographs.
