Lotus
Flower Essence
Lotus pedunculatus
Definition:
A flower essence for.....
The “middle child” syndrome.
Hand-me-downs.
For people who are feeling left out
or overlooked.
Can be in a work setting, overlooked for promotion,
or not appreciated by management.
Not being noticed by authority figures.
Feeling left out or overlooked.
Also for a woman who is unnoticed by a man
she is infatuated with.
For House Balancing (Feng Shui):
Balancing the chakras of the house.
Just as humans have energy centers known as chakras,
so too does a house or building. This essence balances the
energy of the house chakras.
A flower essence, made 10 February, 1999, from the flowers of Lotus plants growing on waste
ground beside the road near Raetihi.
This is one of those essences (like the
Darwins Barberry Berry and the
Bright Lights Beet),
where the circumstances of the making of the essence gave a very strong
indication as to the definition of the essence.
I had driven down from Auckland, en route to Wanganui, to re-make the
essences that I had lost the week before when the herd of cows kicked over my
glasses. I had hurriedly set up five glasses of
essences in the sun (it was
getting well into mid-afternoon, and I was
running out of time), and had totally overlooked the Lotus.
I wandered over to the fence to empty my bladder, and as I was doing this
it was like I heard a voice say “What about me? I've missed out again!”
I looked over the fence. All I could see was the yellow Lotus flowers,
and it seemed like they were calling out to me. I checked with my pendulum,
and yes, they did need to be made into an essence.
The only wine glass I had left was an old broken one, so I used this for the
Lotus.
As I placed the flowers in the broken glass, I fancied I heard a voice
complaining
“I've got the bad deal again!”
And, when it came time to bottle the Lotus, I only had one bottle left:
a bottle that I had already labeled for another essence and then changed my mind.
A “hand-me-down” bottle!
Also, I initially mis-identified the Lotus plant.
I identified it from a poor photograph in a book as something else!
By the time the essences were made and bottled, I knew exactly what the
Lotus essence was for. It has a sad but indignant feeling to its energy,
like “Oh yeah, here we go again! I've been dumped on yet again!”
And in the actual use of the essence, this is how it has turned out.
The essence has been found to be very useful for any situation of a person
feeling aggrieved by being overlooked, or badly dealt with, by an
“authority figure”.
As such, it fills a key role in the “Family Relationships” Super-Essence.
