Parsnip
Flower Essence
Definition:
Feeling bored and in a rut.
When life is feeling stale, this essence brings in
a fresh energy and moves one towards change.
Works at the mental level.
A neutral type of energy, not a big drama issue.
For House Balancing (Feng Shui):
Aligning the energies of the house or building with the
energies of the land upon which the house stands.
The energetic connection and alignment between the
house and the land is very important.
A flower essence, made 4 January, 1999,
from a single parsnip plant in the vegetable
garden of my (rented) house in Buchanan Street,
Wadestown, Wellington.
To most of us, the parsnip is a boring vegetable.
To me, it conjures up childhood memories
(from the 1950's) of overcooked parsnip and carrot,
mashed and mixed together, and served with
white sauce. What could be more boring?
Although, I do actually quite enjoy parsnip now,
but, only when it is cooked in an entirely different
way, ie. baked in the oven.
Which goes to show that, it is up to us as to
whether something is boring or exciting. Sometimes,
all that is needed is a change of style!
