Periwinkle
Flower Essence
Vinca major
Definition:
“Fairies in the Garden.”
Restores the feeling of magic to one's life.
Especially for men who have closed down
their belief that the Little People exist,
that God loves them, and that they matter in life.
An important component in the healing of the
male psyche (not always men).
A flower essence, made 24 August 1998, from the flowers of
Periwinkle growing in waste ground close to the Buchanan
Street, Wadestown, house.
I made this essence at the time when I was just “getting
into my stride” as a full-time essence manufacturer.
I had finished my computer-industry job on 31 July, and it was
during this third quarter of 1998 that my essence making really took off.
I used to always confuse the Periwinkle plant with the Wandering
Jew. Both are vines that creep along the floors of the bush,
and at a glance they look similar. The flowers are very different,
with the Periwinkle having lovely violet flowers and the
Wandering Jew very small white flowers. On close inspection,
the leaves are also quite different, and I can now tell the two plants at a glance.
At first glance, one would expect that this essence might be used
only rarely. But I have found that it is almost what might be called a
“mainstream” essence. Many of my clients have had this essence at
some stage of their treatment. Not really all that surprising, considering
how our culture has totally lost touch with true spirituality, and with
the magic of nature.
This essence has been combined with the
Cream Rose and the
Perpetual Spinach essences in the
“Spiritual Desert” Super-Essence
to provide help with this important issue.
