Flower Essence
Definition:
The “soul-mate” essence.
Balances and aligns the energy between
any two people who have a “soul-mate”
connection .
Also assists in the process of balancing,
resolving and releasing the attachments
between such people, thus freeing them
from the illusions of these attachments,
and allowing them to fully appreciate each
other, and themselves, in the perfection
of who they really are.
A flower essence, made 22 January 2002, which just happens to
be my birthday. Made from a pink begonia plant in the garden
right outside my bedroom window, at a time in my life when I was
reaching a new level of awareness of truth about so-called “soul-
mates”.
The subject of so-called “soul-mates” is one that fascinates many
of us. In our group consciousness, there is a perception of
“specialness” about this type of human relationship, that is very
much like the “special relationship” described in “A Course in
Miracles”.
There is this perception that “if only I could meet my One-and-
Only Special Soul-Mate”, then all problems would dissappear, and
we truly would “live happily ever after”.
It took me many years to realise the truth is that there is nothing
outside of myself that can in any way “make” me happy. And, this
includes a so-called “soul-mate”.
The truth is that happiness is a choice. A choice that has nothing
whatsoever to do with the behavior of people other than myself.
I can choose to be miserable, or I can choose to be happy.
So, where does this leave our “soul-mate”? Is this too a total illusion?
Is there actually no such thing?
If the so-called soul-mate really is totally illusory, what of those people
whom one meets and there is an instant rapport, a feeling like we have
somehow “known each other before”, a feeling of being very comfortable
with each other for no obvious reason?
From my own personal experience, this “instant rapport”, with someone
whom I have only just met for the first time, happens a lot. It is like I
have dozens of “soul-mates”. And, for me, it is not just with people
who I meet in person..... some of my closest friends are people who I
have met over the Internet..... for example, I read a message on an Internet
message board, and the message and the energy of the person really “grab”
me.
Anyway...... to cut a very long story short...... from my own personal
experience, I have decided that, yes, there is such a thing as a, (for want of a
term), “soul-mate”, and that all of us actually have many such people “out
there”. However..... if we buy into the belief that any of these people
can be a substitute for the process of finding our own true, inner happiness,
for ourselves, we are setting ourselves up for dissapointment.
We each have to take full responsibility for ourselves, for our own happiness
and fulfillment, and, once we are doing this, we will find that all of our relation-
ships will be more fulfilling, and that we will automatically attract to ourselves
people whom we are compatible with and who are fully supportive of us in all
aspects of our lives.
This flower essence is to help us in coming more into the realisation of the truth
of all of this..... the truth of our own power over our own lives, and the truth
of the reality of how all our relationships are sacred and “special”, in that they
all offer us opportunites for gaining more wisdom and self-awareness.
