Red Clover
Flower Essence
Trifolium pratense
Definition:
The big bumble-bee, ponderously slow
but it does what it has to do.
Although it's tired and weary, it keeps going from
flower to flower, very focused. It knows it can stop
and take a breather, but it has a load to collect,
and will take it back to the hive.
Inherent duty - supports the hive.
Tomorrow do the same thing: slow, thorough, ponderous.
Not having any fun - joyless.
So busy taking from the flower that you forget
to enjoy the flower: a lack of gratitude.
This essence helps one to be able to play
and work at the same time.
For House Balancing (Feng Shui):
Lifts the amplitude of the vibrational energy of the house.
Provides a similar energy effect as the energy from the
sound made by a chiming clock, hence it could be called
the “chiming clock essence”.
A flower essence, made 29 June, 1996, at the house in Mornington, Wellington, where I was
living.
This is one of the earliest essences that I made
(the fifth). For the story of these times
of my early essence making, see the
section in the New Millennium Essences User Manual (On-Line version),
on “From
Small Beginnings”.
To me, the definition with the bumble-bee is particularly appropriate for this
plant, as bees just
love
clover.
Red Clover is one of those plants that we often overlook, like who ever
notices the wallpaper?
And, like the plant, the essence is one of those easily
overlooked.
It's the essences made from spectacular, showy, flowers
that we are more likely to remember (like
Bougainvillea
or
Pohue), or the heavy-duty essences (like
Red Flowered
Gum or
ToeToe).
The “work-horse”
essences, like this one, are often over-
looked. But, when I look back through my case-notes.....
I am surprised at how many times I have included Red
Clover in a mixture, for all sorts of situations!
And, of course, it is also a key Feng Shui essence.
