Red Rhododendron
Flower Essence
Definition:
The essence that “ties it all together”.
This red rhododendron is the “linkage essence” for use with blends of flower essences, essential oils,
etc, that have been combined together using the “Aromatic Alchemy” method of preparation.
This flower essence is used in place of our other “linkage” essences, and does everything that they do,
as well as having unique properties of its own.
It combines together the energies of essential oils (or herbal remedies) that have been potentised via
homeobotanical techniques, and the energies of flower essences and other types of energy remedies,
all into one holistic, combined healing blend.
This essence also provides energies that moderate the speed of the healing that takes place, including
ameliorating any possible “healing crisis” that might occur.

property, “Wandjina”, North Otago, New Zealand.
When the “Aromatic Alchemy” method of combining together homeobotanically potentized
essential oils with flower essences was first devised, in July 2008, it was obvious that a new
“linkage” essence would be needed for holding together the energies of this
new modality, an essence that filled a similar role to the
White Magnolia linkage essence, but with the ability to include the energies of the potentized essential oils
as well as the flower essences.
Ever since we moved to our 6-acre farm, “Wandjina”, in December 2006,
we had noticed this beautiful red rhododendron, which is growing right in the middle of the
driveway, right where the drive splits into a circle.
We had wondered what the essence from the flowers of this spectacular rhododendron
would be for, but every time (until now) when I asked if the time was right to make an essence
from this plant the answer was always “No”.
It seems that Nature was saving this plant for a very special purpose.
This “linkage” essence is one of a small family of linkage essences, each of
which fills a particular role, similar to the others, but for a particular facet of
essences work.
The
White Magnolia is the original version of the linkage essence,
and is still used in most situations for mixing together simple blends of flower
essences. Then there is the “linkage tree”, which is the linkage essence used in
our more “advanced” essence blends.
