Rosemary
Flower Essence
Rosmarinus officinalis
Definition:
The “Catholic” essence.
To heal the fear from the Catholic belief that
we are born in sin and must repent for this
for the rest of our lives.
To help heal religious guilt and to discourage
the sinner from continuously blaming self.
(eg. Jesuit priests)
A flower essence, made 26 July 1997, from rosemary
bushes growing by the driveway of the house at Anne Street,
Wadestown, Wellington, where I was living.
This period of my essence making was the time of what I
now think of as my “essence-making awakening”.
It was in May 1997 that I had made a serious commitment to
make lots of flower essences, and immediately upon
doing this, many flowers started “popping up”
in my life, saying “Make me!” Rosemary
is one of these flowers.
This theme of “original sin” seems somewhat dated
and irrelevant to many people now, however, for many of us, even
in these modern times, we still carry an underlying energetic legacy
of this guilt of having sinned against the will of God. This is
especially true
for anyone who had a religious upbringing or whose
family was
strongly religious.
Note also that this flower essence is not only for Catholics or
people
with a Catholic upbringing, but for anyone from any form
of religious
background.
