“Same Old”
Stone Essence
Definition:
The essence for helping one to move on from
the “same old, same old”.
No matter how far we have come on the path,
no matter how far we have progressed, we still
seem to be stuck in the “same old”!
This essence is to help us to realise that it is only
us who is creating this “same old”.
A sea essence, made from a small stone found on the
Waikanae beach, north of Wellington, on 9 December, 2000.
We all know that feeling..... no matter how much we try, we just
cannot break free of that old pattern, the same old pattern that has
haunted us for a long time.
The stone for the making of this sea essence was found on Waikanae
Beach, near where my friend Liz used to live, during a visit to her
in December 2000. Whenever I visited Liz, we would walk on the
beach, with her dog, whose name was Solstice, so named because he had arrived
in her household on the winter solstice.
During this walk with Liz and Solstice on 9th December 2000, I found a number of
stones that would be used to make essences. Included
among these was this stone for this “Same Old” essence, as well as the
ones for the
Many Threads,
Hidden Talents, and the
Second Chance essences.
