Snowball Daisy
Flower Essence
Chrysanthemum parthenium
Definition:
To crack the layer of ice around a wounded heart.
To help build trust in people who have experienced a
broken heart and have withdrawn into an icy sanctuary
(a very specific energy).
“It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have
loved at all.”
A flower essence, Made 28 December, 1996, from the lovely
pure white ball-shaped flowers of the Snowball Daisy plants
in the cottage garden of the house in Mt. Victoria, Wellington
that I was renting for six weeks while the owner was overseas.
These flowers were so white that they were badly over-exposed
in the photographs I took of them, just as an iceberg would be
over-exposed in a photograph.
This essence is for anyone who has fallen for the illusion
of the “Special Relationship”, been burnt, and withdrawn
into themselves,
into their “icy sanctuary”.
They have drawn their energy deeply into
themselves, and are refusing to thaw.
They have mistaken “specialness” for real love, and so they now
refuse to trust love, believing it to be an illusion.
This essence will help them to thaw out their frozen heart, and come
to realize that it was the specialness that was the illusion, not the love;
and that the challenge is to learn to understand the difference between
the two.
