Social Conventions
Sea Essence
Definition:
To help with all types of
“social conventions” issues.
Includes people who are enslaved by
the currently-accepted conventions of
their society, living their lives within a
a straight-jacket of “What would the
neighbours think?”
Also for people who have convinced
themselves that they “do not care”,
about what others think, and go about
demonstrating this by behaving in ways
that are unwise or dangerous.
This essence helps both types of person
break through the barriers to self-under-
standing and face up to the real issues
and resolve them.
A sea essence, made 13 December 2001, on Waiheke Island, at
the “Nudie Beach” at Palm Beach.
It was a lovely hot day, and Rosemary and I decided to visit Palm
Beach. As we walked from the “public” area of Palm Beach
towards the little hill that divides the public area from the “clothing
optional” part of the beach, we noticed a woman sun-bathing
“topless”.
As we climbed the path that divides the two sections of the beach,
we both had an insight that there was an essence to be made here
today, and that the essence was somehow related to the contrast
in the “social conventions” that apply to these two adjacent
beaches. On one beach, if a person was to take off all of their
clothes, they would definitely be arrested. But, just over the hill,
just a few minutes away, if one remains fully clothed it is considered
to be rather unusual.
So, here we have it...... the “Social Conventions Essence”. Made
from the energy of the rock-face at the far end of the “Nudie Beach”,
by placing the bottle of water in a crevice in the rock. This essence is
effectively a gem essence, made from a very large stone.
While we were there on Nudie Beach, making this essence, we did not
remove our clothes, so it was us who were breaking the local conventions.
All of the other people on the beach were naked, but we broke this convention.
And, as we walked back later the woman who was sun-bathing topless was
still there, in the little secluded area between the two beaches, like she was,
in being there located in between the two areas of opposing conventions,
in a “transitional” state, neither one nor the other but somewhere in between,
holding a compromise between the two opposing energies.
Another essence that has a connection with Palm Beach, Waiheke Island,
is the
Dark Pink Hibiscus flower essence; and other essences made on
Waiheke Island include the
Yellow Canna Lily, for the treatment of addictions,
and the
Violet Pansy, for racial prejudice.
