The Bridge
Sea Essence
Definition:
The stuff that lies between the dark
and the light sides.
The “middle of the coin”.
The boundary between the Yin and the Yang.
The grey stuff between the light and dark sides
of “the Force”, the middle of the coin.
Made from a flat multi-coloured stone.
A sea essence, made with a small stone
found on 14th September, 1999, on the beach
between Raumati South and Paekakariki.
Over the winter and spring of 1999, while
living by the beach at Raumati South, I
went on many beach walks over this
stretch of beach.
This stone is just one of the many “treasures”
that were found on these walks.
This stone is very flat and thin, shaped very
much like a coin, and, as soon as I picked it
up, I knew exactly what it was for,
what the energy of it was, and what this
energy represents for us humans.
I am absolutely fascinated by this energy
of the “in between stuff”..... neither dark
nor light, neither yin nor yang. You could
say that, in “reality” this in-between stuff
does not exist..... everything in the universe
is in fact either dark or light, and that this
“in between” state is a convenient, almost
mythical concept, somewhat like in math-
ematics the letter “i” is used to represent
the square root of minus one, which, by
definition, cannot exist.......
Yet, mathematicians use the mythical “i”
in their calculations all the time!
So..... I say that this mythical “Bridge
Energy” does exist, and I have my stone
(and this essence!) to prove it.
