This large apple tree is amazing. Every year, it reliably produces a huge quantity of fruit, which has been identified as being “Sturmer Pippin”. The fruit is ready from April, but ripens even better on the tree by May. It has a nice crisp. tart flavour, is good for eating raw or for cooking, and keeps well.
