Looking back towards our house from the west side of the garden, from under the large silver birch tree, you see
a tangle of pumpkin, squash, zucchini and cucumbers, with potatoes behind them against the fence.
This area is on relatively high ground, is an area that has only light frosts in the winter,
and is also sheltered from the south by the house, so we intend to use this area for growing early vegetables,
getting them away to an early start in early spring (September), which would not be possible in most of our other gardens.
