Looking out from under the pine trees accross the paddocks

Looking out from under our pine trees, towards the north-west, there is a large paddock where our sheep will graze, and in the distance you can see another short line of pine trees on our south boundary.

Next winter, we will be planting many more trees on the south boundary, (an in other places too) to provide shelter from the cold southerly wind, and also for future use as firewood, and as part of our plans to develop the property as a permaculture unit, with a natural balance between all of the elements of the property.
