Our small patch of corn is doing well, which is really great considering the plants were rather late in being transplanted. The ears of corn will soon be ready for harvesting.

To the rear of the corn is our yam bed, which is looking very healthy. This is the first time that we have grown yams, and they seem to be doing really well. This will be a permanent yam bed, because once you plant them in a particular location in the garden, you have got them there for ever!
