New Millennium Tree Essences


Our new range of tree essences

Although she is a full partner in the work of creating and defining flower and gem essences, Glenys's natural affinity is with trees. And so here is her range of essences made from the energy of various trees.


The Tree Essences cover some very diverse issues, usually those that Glenys was working with at the time each essence was created. These essences were created from late 2003 onwards, the earliest essences being found about the time that Glenys joined New Millennium Essences as a partner.

First, these Tree Essences are grouped into a category that we could call “balance and grounding”, although when working at this level, any attempt to divide the issues into categories is rather limiting, as everything is integrated and interactive. However, the following three essences help with balance and grounding, primarily of the physical body, but also with flow-on effects in the emotional, mental and spiritual levels of our being.......





Off Balance     Gethsemane Pine
This essence is for feeling off balance, or not centered, where one has been knocked out of alignment by some external factor, such as stress, bad news, family or work situations, visiting crowded public places such as shopping malls, or even loud noises and pollution.






Out of Balance     Broadgreen Tree
This essence is for the feeling of being out of balance, due mainly to the physical body being out of balance due to diet, or other issues arising from within. It includes being out of balance due to lack of self-worth, feeling permanently uncomfortable within one's skin, and as a result, never balanced in a healthy way.






Grounding     Big Poplar
The tree essence for stability and grounding in an uncertain world. Also provides protection when one is feeling vulnerable.







The above group of essences is in a category that we could call “balance and grounding”. The next group of Tree Essences then fall into a category we call “emotional and mental”, as these essences deal mainly with issues at the emotional and mental levels.......





Inner Strength     Californian Redwood
This essence gives one the strength to go on, no matter what, no matter how difficult it is to keep on going....






Deep Wound     “Deep Wound” Tree
This essence helps with healing the deep, black hole inside, due to trauma that goes back through so many ages, so many past lives, leaving a deep emotional, or even physical, pain that can't be resolved without acknowledging this ancient scar.






Suffering of Humanity     Dutch Elm
This essence is for those with so much empathy they take on the burden of suffering for all of humanity.... the deep open wound of suffering.






Welcoming and Accepted     Tabletop Elm (Ulmus glabra)
This essence brings a feeling of being welcomed, sheltered from danger and accepted as having a right to be. For those who don't feel safe or accepted anywhere. Gives a sense of belonging and being included in the community of life.






Unlimited Potential     Juglans hindsii
This essence brings a feeling of all-embracing expansiveness. Helping one to open up to wholeness and a feeling of limitlessness, in all areas of one's life.






Old Hatreds     Hedgehog Fir
This essence is for healing old hatreds that ultimately foster and create a sense of isolation. Releasing the tentacles of hatred that reach out to strangle the joy and natural flow of life force. Especially for releasing very old racial and national hatreds that have been kept aflame down through the centuries.






Limiting Thoughts     Needle Juniper
An essence for healing stunted growth due to limiting, separative thought forms, including karmic residue from previous lives causing blockages in this life.






Moving into Fullness     Sunlit Tree by River
The essence for when one is ready to move on to the fullness of life, honoring Spirit everywhere and in every form. Ready to let go of ALL the baggage holding one back from leading a full, creative and fulfilling life.






True Self-Worth     Monterey Pine
This essence helps to build true inner self-worth and self-esteem, where one fully recognises one's true worth. It also encompasses becoming the Spiritual Warrior, able to stand tall and proud in one's Truth, and unafraid to express that.






Owning What You Attract     Common Beech
This essence is for taking full responsibility for what you attract into your life. For recognising that everything and everyone in your life, whether positive or negative, is there because you attracted them. Once we take full ownership for our life, then we can start to take control of our lives and shape it more appropriately.












The above group of essences is in a category that we could call “emotional and mental”, although when working at this level, any attempt to divide the issues into categories is rather limiting, as everything is integrated and interactive. However, it is still useful to use the labels, so let's call the next group of these Tree Essences, the “spiritual” essences, as they deal primarily with issues of spiritual connection and development.......






Separation from the One     “Lonely” Tree
This essence is for the loneliest feeling of all..... the aching inner loneliness of feeling cut off from Spirit, the One Source.... from connection with one's higher guidance or Guardian Angels.... of feeling abandoned and alone, cut adrift from one's true nourishment in an uncaring world.






Brotherhood of Man     Giant Sequoia
This essence allows you to open your arms and embrace the family of Humanity. “We are all one.”






Clarity of Purpose     “Clarity” Tree
This essence helps one in finding clarity for one's life purpose; to see clearly our true path in life. It is especially useful when the way ahead is dark and uncertain, and we are faced with so many choices.... but which way will lead us onto our true path?






Spiritual Integrity     Oxford on Avon Tree
An essence for helping to remain true to our commitment to live a more spiritually aware life; to hold the awareneness that we live as a spiritual being in a physical body. Also helps one to live one's spiritual Truth.






Guardian of the Sacred     Eucalyptus in Cemetery
This essence is for connecting with the Guardian of the Sacred, the guardian of the entry between the two worlds - the physical world around us and the world of Spirit on the other side of the veil. Helps us to find that entry point between the two worlds.






True Alignment     Big Rimu Tree
This essence helps to bring that sense of full personal power, which we call self-actualisation, that comes from true alignment with our Source.






Dissolving Boundaries     Tree by Pond
This essence is for dissolving the boundaries that separate us from other “worlds” and other dimensions. It helps us with the expansion of our consciousness that is to open up to other realms and experiences beyond our physical plane of existence.






Alien in a Strange World     Tree in Old Churchyard
This essence is for those who feel like an alien living on this planet Earth... like they somehow got off the inter-stellar “subway” or “underground” at the wrong planet. For those of us who feel they don't belong on a world where greed, hate, violence and separative thinking are the norm.
